It’s that time of the year. E3 is just far enough away to not have completely taken over our news feeds, but close enough for the rumours to begin circulating. As is usually the case, Bethesda will be amongst a handful of publishers showcasing their talent at this year’s festival.
Whilst they’re not set to take centre stage until June 11th, it was their invitations this week that caused excitement amongst fans. In addition to the standard RSVP, the invitation also sported some interesting artwork.

Titled Bethesdaland, the picture depicts a theme park containing themed areas linking them to the companies various award-winning titles. Across the artwork characters and scenes from such franchises as Doom, Fallout, Quake, Dishonored, The Elder Scrolls and Prey all made notable appearances.
However, it’s the two areas marked coming soon that have caught the attention of onlookers. These two areas, resembling construction sites could bring the possibility of fresh intellectual property being displayed at this year’s conference from Bethesda.
That being said, it’s also more than possible that this is nothing more than a way to symbolise the companies aspirations going forward across the next few years. Either way, we can hope to expect big things from the publishers this year in Los Angeles, with more news on first-person shooter Quake Champions surely on the cards.
