The ingredients needed to make Bread pakoras:
  • 6-7 bread slices
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 2-3 tbsp rice flour
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 3/4 tsp carrom seeds
  • to taste salt
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • As needed Water
  • As needed Oil to deep fry
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce

  • Add enough water to make a batter not too thick or thin.
  • Cut the bread slices into triangles.
  • Dip the slices in the batter to coat them well.
  • Heat oil in a wok and deep fry the coated slices till golden brown on both sides.
  • Spread tomato sauce on one slice and coriander chutney on another. Keep the slices on top of each other and cut into triangles.
  • Dip the slices in batter and deep fry them.
  • You can further cut these slices into triangles and serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
